  • What are the topics?
ROOTED - 1 Corinthians 15:58 - Colossians 2:6-7 - Ephesians 3: 16-19 Preaching/Teaching Classic Content in a Contemporary Context - ROOTED Those who attend this session will be confronted concerning the need to be truly a community church. It is incumbent that the issues facing families and generations are known and addressed. This means creatively using the word of God in ways to impact people for the glory of Christ. Addressing the Times Without Compromising the Word- ROOTED A responsible interpretation of scripture leads to a clear-eyed and thoughtful examination of the times from the perspective of God’s Word. Preaching Christ with Intentionality- ROOTED Moving into the experience of our listeners isn’t enough. We must meet them where they live, and then escort them to Christ. He alone sympathizes and empathizes with our pains because He has fully endured life. Preaching with intentionality will strengthen your resolve to make the most of Jesus in the midst of this. Creativity in Preaching the Truth with a Mission Mindset- ROOTED Christian formation cannot take place without exhortation messages that motivate more mission-oriented believers. The mission-oriented church is a growing church, “that can help us grow in our Christianity and Christian experience.” RELEVANT - Hebrews 4:12 -1 Timothy 4:12-1 Corinthians 9:19-23 Post-Pandemic: How Do We Get People Back in the Pews?- RELEVANT As behaviorists say, new habits are formed after only twenty-one days of practice; what new habits have been formed by being away from “in-person” worship for over 800 days. Undoubtedly, the church as we have known has changed- and maybe forever. What questions must we ask to renew people’s engagement? Christ & Culture: Reaching the UnChurched and Impacting Your Community- RELEVANT Learning proven ways to attract the unchurched to your church in an ever-changing culture without compromising the message of Jesus Christ! Regardless of your context, as long as you have Christ, Creativity, Consistency, and Committed Disciples, your ministry can continue to GROW! Come and learn new creative ways to reach the unchurched. Back to Church! Rethinking Preaching and Ecclesiology - RELEVANT As many people are returning to in-person worship and some are remaining remote in worship, it is time to accentuate and reconsider the nature of “church”. This session will consider some creative ways to preach and think about what it means to be the church in 2023. Be Daring: Facing Uncertainty with Faith - RELEVANT As many of our local congregations return to in-person worship, we will be challenged to rethink ministry. What needs will returning worshippers have? How do we create women ministries that meet the diverse needs of an in-person and virtual congregation? As we reimagine ministry together, we are clear on one thing, “maintaining the status quo or doing nothing” – is NOT an option. RESPONSIVE - 1 PETER 3:15 - LUKE 6:36 - GALATIANS 5:16 Social impact 5G- - RESPONSIVE Spiritual 5G Network The current and next generation of your church should be transforming the lives significantly of the community you worship in. Grace, Gratitude, Generosity, Groundedness, and Gentleness Finding New Ways to Serve - RESPONSIVE Seasons change, and so do our interests and effectiveness. Shifting roles is not quitting the ministry. This session will teach staff members, and volunteers that evolving is essential to effectiveness. We will discuss how to sense when it is time to give up an old responsibility in the church and how to be comfortable serving in a new capacity. Children & Youth: How to Redesign, Rebuild and Restore Your Church’s Youth and Children’s Ministry- Hybrid Church is Here to Stay! - RESPONSIVE The global pandemic has presented a great challenge for ministry leaders that serve and support children’s and youth ministries around the world. We have all been challenged to redesign, rebuild and restore our ministries. This session will cover details and logistics to better help children and youth leaders understand the Hybrid model (offering both an online and in-person option) is based on you redesigning, rebuilding, and restoring your ministries for today and beyond. Creating a Church That Makes a Difference- RESPONSIVE This session is designed to answer the question, “What is the church doing during the pandemic?” Unique strategies to meet the demands and needs of families and communities will be provided to strengthen the global witness of the local church. WOMEN'S PROGRAM When Women Lead-Women have influence, authority, vision, leadership qualities, and spiritual giftedness to add value to any room they enter. No matter how others view you, God wants to use you to make a difference in the body of Christ. What might God do with you if you didn’t put restrictions on yourself? Who might you be able to serve? With God’s help, what victories might you be able to win? Whenever women leaders rise up and fulfill their calling, the people they serve are blessed. Join us to discover how you can maximize your spiritual influence in any leadership circle. EVENING TOPICS: “Pass the Baton” “The Gap Between Our Talk and Our Practice” - “Like A Good Neighbor, the Body of Christ is There” “Why Are you in the Way” - “Cult or Kingdom Building” “Where is God Leading you” - “Rise Up and Walk” “CAN THEY SEE JESUS IN ME” Panel Discussions If the pandemic taught us anything, it is that we are not in control as much as we like to think we are. But if we were paying attention, the pandemic also presented a major opportunity to reevaluate, redefine, and reinvent the proverbial wheels of ministry we’d been routinely rolling with pre-COVID. We were met with a choice to change everything—because everything has changed. Now That Hybrid Church Is On Par For The Course... And old thinking patterns threaten to constrain our growth, there is no shortage of considerations for Leaders pressing on in the post-pandemic era. Topics We Will Discuss: What technology do we need? What platforms should we use? What staff should we hire? How do we allocate our resources to maximize our reach? How do we foster community? How do we encourage people to return to the local church when so many are now comfortable with watching online? What beliefs do we have to personally shift or shred to move forward?
